The green color and regularity made me think it was part of the plant. But all other specimens of the same plant had no such green parts.

Interesting how saturation will emphasize differences. The green trees have turned green, blue and yellow. These colors were alreadly there.

Cropping versus digital zoom. The photographer concluded tha cropping was better. His own photos show a different story. The digital versions (bottom pics) are slightly better.
